People say that nothing good ever comes out of haste, but there are always times when, if you don't hurry, failure is certain. Our life, regardless of how long it will be, is nevertheless finite, our deaths, while uncertain as far as date and time are concerned, are imminent, and thus, time is of the essence. On the other hand, perhaps that itself is the reason why we should not hurry, why we should take our time, so that, in the end, we could be satisfied with our results. Time flows away without asking our permission, so, even if we make haste in our everyday activities, we still spend time on them. We should try and find a balance in this, as we try to do in everything else; find a way to do things as quickly as possible while not sacrificing efficiency and quality.
To make haste is an interesting concept, to say that it is always good is something only a fool would do, to say that it never gives good results, is again, wrong. Consider your transitoriness deeply, and, once aware of it, only you will know of the manner in which you decide to get things done.
