Waiting with a purpose

There is an old byword that says : "Good things will come to those who wait" . I beg to differ and accuse it of being dishonest. Nothing good comes to those who wait. The actual good things come to those who do, so, don't listen to the people that tell you otherwise. If you want something, you have to work for it, for nothing good comes without sacrifice.
However, patience is nonetheless, important, provided that there is a purpose for displaying it. There are and always will be times when you need to get up and do the things you want done, anyways, for some of them, you must be willing to wait.
