In a pit of sorrow
Life, in all that it means, with all its endless possibilities, is utterly, finite. Thinking about this, we have no choice but to accept that one day, our end shall come, and we shall come to pass into the eternal nothingness.Even worse, we have to count in the possibility of being the last of our own to pass away, doomed to live for years in a pit of sorrow and despair. Faced with facts like these, we try to hang onto ourselves until the final apathy sets in, calming us, but slowly draining us of what life we would have left inside us. No man shall ever have to go through this, but, even so, there are plenty experiencing it this very moment. Knowing this, now, that we are young, now that we are not there, should value our time, for time, is of the essence.
