Inverted Flight
Even though we hate to admit it, the main reason for our failures, those to blame for them, are no others than ourselves. Regardless of how hard working we are, we always create obstacles for ourselves, we strive hard to reach a goal and when we're a few inches away from it, we hold back, we lose interest, we lose ourselves. Whenever we are close to greatness, we tend to back down, and the reason for it is that actually achieving something scares us. The thought of not being able to reach that level again is harrowing, and so we keep spinning in a vicious circle, in a vortex, wrapping our legs around, trapping ourselves in an inverted flight, towards an imminent fall. Still, there comes a time when, after many defeats, we learn how to use our wings, we set the focus to a goal and never let go, spread them and charge into the yet unknown with new strengths, and the wisdom to face the horror and carry on for a change.
