At given times, we all felt like this.Trapped in the routine, unable to escape from the prison of our comfortable homes towards which we began to feel so accustomed that we started to hate the feeling.Even if we chose to keep an apparent well-being, not unlike a dog in a cage, crave for freedom every now and then. A chance to act different, to be ourselves, not what the society wants us to be. Until we can put a day or two apart for this kind of moment, though, we remain imprisoned.
As I have said before, winter is coming, and it will most likely not have any mercy this year, as the meteorologists say that the temperatures would be even harsher than last year's.So, in a few months, while all of you resort to your warm chairs by the computer desks with a cup of coffee... these two beauties will be here to remember you that spring always follows winter, eventually.
Why is it that we only remember the sacrifice we declare to have been saved through on Easter when It should be a constant reason for everyday thanksgiving ? We were once lost, and now we are saved, and it is only by His blood, only by His sacrifice we are made anew. We call ourselves Christians, yet few of us actually believe in it.Since the Sacrifice of Christ is the very essence of Christianity, and most of us reject that idea, why do we keep calling ourselves the followers of Christ ?
He took the nails into His palms, as the Spear pierced His ribs, He died on a cross, among two criminals, whilst He was innocent, just so that you and i could now have a chance to be saved.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believed in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
It is through His love and sacrifice that we now have that chance, so , if you call yourself a Christian, do not ignore it.
As we all know, the brain is the most important part of our bodies.It is responsible for everything we do, know and feel.Nothing, but nothing on the face of the earth is worse than not being able to trust it.I have lived this once through a sleep deprivation experience.After 3 days without sleep, Psychosis steps in, you start hallucinating, and the connections made by your brain simply leave you startled.I strongly believe that if we spend a day in the shoes of a madman we would truly appreciate our own ability to sanely think, and would spend our days doing something more valuable, something worthy of our mind's theoretically infinite potential.
There is really not much to say about this photo...not from me, however.I did not really want to make a story when i took it, i just loved the beauty of the flowers and the warmth of the sunlight that bathed them...nice colors are always a pleasure to the eyes...and even though it doesn't have any meaning as the others i have used you to have, i personally like this photo only for the tableau it offers.
Many of you may not believe it, but there is nothing more terrifying than being forced to hear the sound of gunshots every minute of every day wherever you are.You have to live with the thought that you are permanently exposed to death and you are always questioning the return of your loved ones.In times of war, housewives would look through the window everyday, hoping that they would one day see their beloved spouse come back home unharmed. Most of the times, though ... the reality was quite different.
